Personally

• Lover of travel, history, and time with my family. I'm especially happy when all those things come together. (Throw in a good latte', and I'm in heaven :) ) 
• Homeschool mom of two terrific boys (birth through college)
• Passionate about my faith in Christ, while welcoming other faiths, backgrounds, and world views :) 
• Strongly believe that parents know their own children best, and have their best interests at heart. I am committed to supporting and encouraging fellow homeschool families.

Professionally

• Degree in Liberal Studies 
• Licensed Teacher in Colorado, Florida, and California
• Classroom teacher for 10 years
• Homeschool consultant/evaluator for three years for a public charter school for homeschool families (Pre-K through 12th) 
• Involved with multiple homeschool independent schools, charters, and co-ops (teaching, support, etc.)
• Trained and experienced in working with struggling and advanced learners, and other special circumstances 
• Experience working with a variety of schooling methods, styles, and curricula
